Napa Valley College men's soccer concludes season with win

The Napa Valley College men's soccer team ended its season on Friday, Nov. 14, beating Woodland Community College, 2-1, in a Bay Valley Conference match at Justin-Siena High School's Dodd Stadium.
Napa Valley (7-7-4 overall, 6-3-1 Bay Valley Conference) concludes the 2025 fall season on a three-game winning streak. The Storm also won six of its last seven games and finishes in second place, just one point behind first-place Contra Costa College-San Pablo.
Contra Costa (7-9-3 overall, 6-2-2 Bay Valley) advances to the California Community College Athletic Association-Northern California Regionals, which start on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The 3C2A State Championships are Dec. 5 and 7, at Saddleback College-Mission Viejo.
Daniel Domingeuz, a freshman forward, gave the Storm a 1-0 lead, scoring an unassisted goal, at the 42nd minute of the first half.
Woodland Community College tied it with a goal at the 44th minute of the first half.
The match was tied, 1-1 at halftime.
Sergio Hernandez, a freshman forward, scored the winning goal for Napa Valley at the 75th minute of the second half. The assist was credited to Salvador Gutierrez, a freshman.
Cadel Newton-Kotch played very well at goalkeeper for the Storm, making five saves in 90 minutes.
